TigerRisk Partner Mike Schnur says his firm's clients, which are very large buyers of reinsurance, have been tapping alternative reinsurance capacity from the capital markets and seeing price advantages in both the traditional and alternative markets. And while he believes the traditional reinsurance market is here to stay, he says the alternative markets have prompted a positive shift in thinking among traditional reinsurers. Schnur and Swiss Re's Greg Schiffer explain in this interview from the annual PCI meeting in Boston.
